Activites and Things to Do in Tobago
In addition to sunbathing on the numerous beaches, there are several activities and things to do while in Tobago, to help make your holiday a special and memorable experience. These include sailing, snorkelling, golf, fishing, scuba diving, sightseeing, bird watching, biking and more.
Helicopter Ride
Enjoy a helicopter ride and take in the breathtaking views of the beaches and scenery beneath you. There are 3 different packages lasting between 20 and 40 minutes.
Snorkelling
Snorkelling gear is usually provided on a glass bottom boat trip, so you can enjoy the coral and fish in the shallow reefs. This is a great introduction to snorkelling.

Scuba & Deep Sea Diving
Beginner dive packages are very flexible. A session lasts about 2 hours and the cost includes tuition and equipment rental. By the end of the week you could be swimming with a peaceful Manta Ray.
Sailing
Enjoy an all day cruise around the island with a buffet lunch, or for something more romantic, enjoy a sunset cruise with an open bar and music.
Little Tobago Bird Sanctuary
The bird sanctuary is located on a small island called Little Tobago. Trips to the island usually last 4 hours and include lunch.
Argyle Waterfall
The Argyle Waterfall is split into 3 tiers, each with its own pool. For a fee of $2US you can hire a guide to help you climb the tiers.

Golf
Tobago Plantations Golf Course is an 18 hole, par 72 PGA designed championship course and is just 5 minutes from Horizons Tobago Apartments by car. Mount Irvine Golf Course (above) is a world class 18-hole course with magnificent views of the island and sea.
Green Leather Back Turtles
The endangered giant green leatherback turtles can be seen nesting on the shore just off the east coast of Tobago.

Glass Bottom boat trip to Buccoo Reef & Nylon Pool
A trip to the world famous Buccoo Reef lasts about 90 minutes. A glass bottom boat enables you to see the wonders of the reefs beneath you.
